Itinerary
This 7-day journey combines a relaxed coastal departure with thrilling safari drives, creating a perfect blend of adventure and discovery across two countries:
Day 1: Malindi to Tsavo East National Park (Kenya)
- Depart from Malindi and drive to Tsavo East National Park.
- Arrive at your lodge/camp and settle in.
- Afternoon game drive to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and other wildlife.
- Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge/camp in Tsavo East.
Day 2: Tsavo East to Arusha (Tanzania)
- Breakfast at the lodge/camp before departing for Tanzania via the Taveta border.
- Arrive in Arusha, check into your lodge, and enjoy a city tour or visit coffee plantations.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Arusha.
Day 3: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater
- Breakfast at the lodge before departing for Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
- Descend into the crater for a game drive, spotting rhinos, lions, elephants, and other wildlife.
- Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge near Ngorongoro.
Day 4: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
- Breakfast at the lodge before departing for Serengeti National Park.
- Afternoon game drive in the Serengeti, home to the Great Migration (seasonal).
- Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge/camp in Serengeti.
Day 5: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti
- Early morning game drive when wildlife is most active.
- Breakfast at the lodge/camp.
- Afternoon game drive to explore different areas of the Serengeti.
- Alternatively, opt for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge/camp.
Day 6: Serengeti to Lake Manyara National Park
- Breakfast at the lodge/camp before departing for Lake Manyara National Park.
- Afternoon game drive to see tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and hippos.
- Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge/camp near Lake Manyara.
Day 7: Lake Manyara to Tarangire National Park & Return to Malindi
- Breakfast at the lodge/camp before departing for Tarangire National Park.
- Game drive to see large elephant herds and baobab trees.
- Depart for Malindi via Arusha or Nairobi.
