Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Scenic Transfer

  • Check into a lodge near Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
  • Evening briefing on gorilla trekking and park activities
  • Optional nature walk or relaxation with volcano views

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Expedition

  • Early morning trek to find the Nyakagezi gorilla group, a habituated family known for their playful silverback
  • Trekking duration: 2–6 hours depending on gorilla location
  • Guided journey through bamboo and montane forests
  • Afternoon at leisure or optional birdwatching excursion

 Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking & Batwa Trail

  • Morning trek to spot golden monkeys, known for their agility and vibrant coloring

  • Afternoon Batwa cultural experience:
